Step two in fixing a podcast mistake - 1KP0049

If you’ve ever made a mistake with your podcast you’ve probably done step one of fixing it - fix it. But have you also moved on to step two?

Mistakes are a fact of life - even for podcasters.

When you make a mistake, you might want to bury your head and hide. You might want to fix it and move on. But there might be something missing.

Let’s assume for a minute that you want to fix your mistake and keep going. you have the perspective to fix the issue, take it as a learning, and keep creating.

That’s admirable.

But it’s incomplete.

Unless you move on to step two of fixing your problem, you’re almost certainly destined to keep fixing the same kinds of mistakes over and over.

Those mistakes add up over time and cost you more than you might think in time, attention, confidence, rest, and even money.

So…make sure that you do one more thing when you fix your mistake to ensure you don’t make the same mistake again.

About the Podcast

1000 Podcasters
Helping 1000 Podcasters Launch, Sustain, and Improve Their Shows
I’m a podcast host and editor, and I want to help you launch your podcast.

You don’t have to go it alone or be afraid of making mistakes. We all make them, but we can learn from each other along the way. My goal is to help you get started on your own podcast journey by sharing what I've learned over the last 5 years hosting my own show, interviewing hundreds of guests, growing as a host and editor, developing systems and processes for myself (and now others), and beginning to share what I've learned with others who are just getting started in this space.

You'll learn from someone who has been where you are now - someone who has learned what works best for them in their process of launching a podcast and growing an audience around that show. You'll learn about tools that have helped me grow my show over time as well as tips on how to get started with your first episode today!
