Should I rethink 💭 how I'm producing my podcast? - 1KP0006

Starting or improving a podcast can be a HUGE mental game. If you've been producing a show for a while, there might be things that you've developed over the months and years that no longer serve you and need to be refreshed.

But what leads to the need to change?

Over the past week or so I've had to make some changes to my flagship show - the Engaging Missions Show. I've also needed to change my process and expectations to deliver this show.

When I did that, I had to come face-to-face with some of my expectations. I also learned a few things about myself that I'd forgotten.

Here's what led to the changes, some of what I've changed, and what I've learned along the way.

I think this is making me a better podcaster and maybe it'll make you a better podcaster too.

About the Podcast

1000 Podcasters
Helping 1000 Podcasters Launch, Sustain, and Improve Their Shows
I’m a podcast host and editor, and I want to help you launch your podcast.

You don’t have to go it alone or be afraid of making mistakes. We all make them, but we can learn from each other along the way. My goal is to help you get started on your own podcast journey by sharing what I've learned over the last 5 years hosting my own show, interviewing hundreds of guests, growing as a host and editor, developing systems and processes for myself (and now others), and beginning to share what I've learned with others who are just getting started in this space.

You'll learn from someone who has been where you are now - someone who has learned what works best for them in their process of launching a podcast and growing an audience around that show. You'll learn about tools that have helped me grow my show over time as well as tips on how to get started with your first episode today!
